We were established in 1993 as a 100% women-owned business and are located in downtown Chicago near many of our clients.

From day one we've worked in the public sector market and have extensive experience in providing technology solutions to State and local governments. Given our certifications as a women-owned business, we frequently join project teams led by major IT firms in responding to proposed government contracts. Monarch Group is a business whose consultants are technically skilled and professionally respected.

The company was started by Linda G. Knibbs, Ph.D., who determined there was a real opportunity in the Chicago-area market for a woman-owned technology firm in the early 1990's. After earning a doctorate in public policy and communications, Dr. Knibbs had worked as a legislative analyst and then a statewide association executive in Springfield, IL. Using her extensive knowledge about government operations and business management, Monarch Group has found a place in Chicago's technology community.
